Saltriovenator, whose name translates to "hunter of Saltrio," is an extinct genus of ceratosaurus theropod dinosaur that roamed the earth during the Lower Jurassic era, approximately 200 million years ago (Sinemuriano) in what is now Saltrio, Italy. This genus consists of a single species, S. zanellai, previously known as Saltriosaurus, a temporary name suggested by Cristiano Dal Sasso in 2000 following the discovery of Angelo Zanella in 1996 at a fossil-rich deposit near Saltrio (VA). Although no complete skeleton has been unearthed to date, Saltriovenator is believed to have been a large bipedal carnivore similar to Ceratosaurus. The model was created using Blender for the 3D modeling and Substance Painter for the textures. Additionally, it features a fully functional rig that allows for detailed animations, including closing and opening the eyes and nose.
