Salt N Pepper Grinder
thingiverse
I increased the size of my design in 123D Design by a factor of 20 to create a sturdy and reliable handle for my grinder. The original version was too flimsy, breaking apart when I tried to assemble it, so I made significant improvements. This new version features a robust 4mm nut paired with a 4x20mm machine screw that securely attaches the handle to the grinder. The nut smoothly slides into the male grinder component, while the screw passes through the handle to provide maximum stability. The improved design boasts a strengthened female slot on the grinder that ensures the male part doesn't snap off when tightened, and features an inner body with a rounded shape to prevent the shaker handle from slipping or moving around excessively. I opted for a size increase of about 5 inches tall, which allows for a finer grind on salt and pepper.
