This is a brand new, greatly improved salt dehumidifier. Gone are the o-ring, bolts and inserts - you no longer have to disassemble it to drain out the water.\nNow, when checking your stored items, simply empty out the water and add more salt as needed. Don't worry about the salt spilling over then draining the water; it will have reacted with the air's moisture and formed a solid salt rock.\nLook at one of the pictures showing how much water my version 1 collected from inside a box with a lid, sitting in a relatively dry garage - ventilated but no heat for two months.
