Salt Cellar w/ lid
thingiverse
This salt cellar offers instant access to a pinch or spoon of salt while preparing food in the kitchen. It's perfect for use with larger grain salt like kosher or sea salt, not table salt. Larger grains make it easy to measure out by hand. The lid simply rests loosely on top to keep dust and other debris out, featuring a chamfer around the edge that self-centers itself. Print Settings Supported: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Notes: I printed this in PETG (eSun blue semi-transparent) I prefer the surface finish of my printer's top layer, so I print the lid with its top surface facing up, requiring support material. If you prefer the surface finish your print bed gives, then you can flip the lid upside down, which should not need supports. Post-Printing I tried to color in the text on the lid with black, but it was much harder to see than I expected. Next time, I'd probably use a white paint pen for better contrast. How I Designed This Designed in OpenSCAD, the "salt" text uses my parametric font: Circular Logic
