This bronze statuette called 'Salomé' was created by Jules Desbois sometime in 1912. Born on December 20th, 1851, and passing away on October 2nd, 1935, Desbois was a French sculptor and medallion engraver who made a name for himself with numerous iconic sculptures in Paris and his association with Auguste Rodin that led them to discover America's culture. The sculpture is well-balanced and depicts a nude woman, her lower half covered by fabric, stretching outwards with both arms in an exaggerated contrapposto position. This object belongs to "Scan The World".
