salco towerfan oscillating pivot thingamabob
thingiverse
Our towerfan decided to stop oscillating right in the hottest night of this weeks climate atrocity that is our future life now... well I opened it up after watching a few youtube videos of how these things work and found a small plastic part broken, that a pivoting arm used to be mounted to. I have no idea what to call it in German, let alone in English. Germans would probably refer to it as a Dingensbummens, so I translated that to thingamabob. The towerfan in question is the KLT-1010 by SALCO, but I would not be surprised if the design has found it's way into other casings under other brandnames as well, so I am adding a few photos for people to identify if the part will be useful. Printed this at 70% infill in PETG, no brim, no supports.
