An Alternative Method for Retaining Springs on the Outside of a Box: A Solution for X-55 and X-56 Pull Spring Enhancement As I prepare my X-55 for a mount, I require an alternative method for securing springs on the outside of the box. The diagram below illustrates my design approach. This project is still in progress, but I may decide to add retaining clips under the base of the case where it currently extends to the bottom. Please ensure you download the latest version, as I am making updates. The small tolerance (0.8mm) added to fit around the case and between inner and outer parts may need adjustments after printing and testing.
