I'm a huge fan of flight simulators, and since I'm working towards getting my pilot's license, I always try to practice with controls that closely mimic the real thing. Recently, I came across an online yoke that caught my eye, but unfortunately, it didn't come with a desk clamp and there were some issues with the manufacturer. As a result, these yokes aren't currently available for purchase new. So, I decided to get this yoke instead and create my own custom clamp. The fit is really snug, and the bolt holes on either end are more of a suggestion - they're not even lined up perfectly. However, it's still possible to drill them out or use smaller bolts to make it work. To finish off the clamp, I just need to grab a bolt and nut from the hardware store. I saw no point in 3D printing an adjustable bolt when a steel one would be much more reliable. The print settings were 20% infill, which took around 19-20 hours to complete on my printer. For each piece, it took approximately 6 and a half hours to print on my Axiom machine. I hope this helps!
