An extension shaft for the Saitek ProFlight yoke is designed to overcome a common issue when creating a cockpit dashboard - the standard shaft is too short, forcing the main body of the yoke to protrude through the dash and limit space for other essential components like switches. This dedicated shaft extension enables the main body to be discreetly concealed behind the dashboard while providing ample clearance for the yoke's full range of movement. As our first release, we invite feedback on potential improvements. One suggestion is to print with supports for the internal parts of the shaft; however, we may redesign the joint to be at an angle, eliminating the need for supports altogether.
