Saitama One punch man Figure Statue (Fixed)
thingiverse
Hi there. I liked the original file design of Saitama by f3rnand044, but it was not supposed to be printable because of major geometry errors inside the model. So, after acknowledging it, I decided I wanted to make it work and maybe I'll print it too in the future. v.3.4 Alternative This is an alternative version of the 3.4. If the v3.4 model doesn't slice correctly, use it. Contributed by Priestly Pro (compared to v3.4): 1. This fixes all the model errors, and it may help on slicers which don't handle correctly the model repair when slicing. Cura doesn't need this version because it works just fine without even needing to use any plugin. S3d, even though doesn't work as good as Cura when repairing a file, should also work correctly and shouldn't need the usage of this Alternative version. Other less common or newer slicers may benefit from it. Cons (compared to v3.4): 1. Depending on the layer height, some details may be a real bit less visible. 2. The file size is much larger, so the model's harder to manage when slicing. v.3.4 This was reworked from scratch because, even though the v2 worked fine, it lost a bit of quality compared to the source model and it still required some Z axis tweak, so I wanted to have a final high quality model to be ready to print. Fixed issues (from the source model): 1. The first issue were the geometries on the legs, that would cause wide emtpy parts inside and it would cause the print to fail or it would make that section extremely weak and prone to break. 2. Wrong geometry near the neck. 3. Minor geometry errors in the model. 4. The base was a mess. I decided with this v3 to use a base plate under it to make a good flat contact with the plate, and I took the chance to impress the credits beneath it. 5. High quality mantained from the source model. v.2 (Obsolete and deleted) Fixed issues (from the source model): 1. The first issue were the geometries on the legs, that would cause wide emtpy parts inside and it would cause the print to fail or it would make that section extremely weak and prone to break. 2. Wrong geometry near the neck. 4. Minor geometry errors in the model. 3. The base was a mess. I partially corrected it to have a working base, but to finally fix this you have to move the Z coordinate of the model to -0.32 mm in the slicer, it will make the base completely flat. Enjoy, and let me know your appreciation if you print it successfully!
