Not your mother's extruder, kidding! This ingenious yet remarkably effective extruder was created by a team of innovative minds from the QR community - Shauki B., Mauro Manco (Exilaus), Dale Dunn, and Darkberg Aryavis (Flint Eastwood) - with my own contribution to bring it into being. I took their concept and polished it, making it easy on the eyes. The name "Aureola" comes from the ring's resemblance to a celestial aura, while its core uses the flint wheel of a lighter for added functionality. Initially designed for use with NEMA17 motors and 1.75mm filament, this extruder boasts an impressive self-locking mechanism that cancels out forces applied to the stepper motor, making it remarkably efficient in operation.
