Saint Patrick's Day name tag for your pet! Create a unique design with a green shamrock and personalize it with their name. To get started, download the blank shamrock and name examples I've included below. I use Microsoft's free 3D Builder to create custom name tags. First, I craft a name and export it as a PNG file. Next, I import the blank shamrock object file into 3D Builder and head to the Edit menu. From there, I select Emboss and click on Pattern to load my pet's name from the PNG file. I then position the text where I want it by clicking on the surface of the shamrock. Once I've placed the text perfectly, I save the design as an STL file using Save As. This allows me to import it into my slicer program and generate g-code for printing with my 3D printer. I recently learned a valuable lesson about the Shamrock's true form – it has three leaves, not four! To accommodate this new knowledge, I've added a three-leafed shamrock design that you can use to create a pet tag. Thank you for bringing this to my attention and helping me improve my designs!
