Saint Michael
thingiverse
A medieval sculpture of Saint Michael was 3D-scanned using 123D Catch, with the process involving approximately 100 photos taken from an iPhone. The images were then stitched together and cleaned up using MeshLab and Netfabb, respectively, before being refined in Zbrush for a smoother finish and better printing possibilities. The final result is an .OBJ file that can be further edited if desired. This sculpture, made of limestone with paint and gold traces, dates back to around 1475 and originates from Touraine, France.
