The statue of Saint James the Greater, dating from around 1475 to 1500, was crafted in Burgundy, France using limestone as its medium and was originally painted. The sculpture measures 37.8 cm in height, 39.7 cm in width, and 25.7 cm in depth. Classified under stone sculptures, it is part of the French culture. This exquisite piece is housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art and is under the ownership of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac D. Fletcher Collection, bequeathed to the museum by Isaac D. Fletcher in 1917. This masterpiece was initially scanned at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's 3D Funday event by Millicent Cooley from NYC Museum MediaLab using the 123D Catch application, although it may still require refinement.
