The beautiful relief sculpture, created by an artisan from Lombardy, brings Saint Dominic to life in vivid detail. Commissioned in the late 13th century as a centerpiece for the Church of Sant'Agostino, it was meant to be a stunning focal point within the house of worship. In 1899, the Banca Popolare Cooperativa di Padova generously donated this exquisite sculpture to be cherished by the community.
