Saint Anthony of Padua was born Fernando Martins de Bulhões in 1195. He later became a renowned Portuguese Catholic priest and Franciscan friar. Raised by a wealthy family in Lisbon, he would eventually pass away in Padua, Italy on June 13th, 1231. His contemporaries praised him for his powerful sermons and deep understanding of scripture. In fact, he was the second-fastest saint to be canonized after Peter of Verona. On January 16th, 1946, Anthony of Padua was proclaimed a Doctor of the Church. He is also the patron saint of locating missing items or individuals. This object belongs to "Scan The World".
