SainSmart XBee USB Adapter Explore Holder
thingiverse
I specifically designed this section to securely hold the SainSmart XBee USB Adapter Explore, SKU: 20-011-917, while it sits on my desk. It perfectly holds the xBee radios in place for configuring via XCTU or general communication when plugged into the USB port. In the provided pictures, several notable details can be seen; I added some automotive stick-on wheel weights to make it slightly heavier. Additionally, a 2.54mm, 5-pin right-angle female header was installed at the bottom, allowing me to still read the silkscreen while installing jumpers. To further prevent it from falling off my desk, rubber feet were attached. The fasteners used were m2.5x10 coarse screws for plastic, which I obtained from McMaster Carr. The part number for these screws is 96817A271.
