SailorBee, Wooden

The wooden sailplane glider, SailorBee, was created during my spare time and remains incomplete. The majority of the materials used are 5-layered plywood sheets and lumber, both of aviation grade quality. High-level lamination techniques are essential for this project, along with numerous fixtures. A 5-axis CNC engraving router with a large working plate would be suitable for producing such intricate parts and fixtures. The wing profile is based on Wortman's laminar design, and steel components will be added to connect the wings at the center, above the center of gravity, along with dural thin pipes for control surfaces like ailerons, rudder, stabilizers, and spoilers. The glider features two wheels, one at the rear fuselage and another beneath the pilot's seat, with the front wheel being retractable. At present, this project is just a dream and a personal endeavor during my spare time, without any support or additional resources. Thank you for your patience in reading my lengthy description.
