Sailor Moon Crystal Prism Wand Lamp

Sailor Moon Crystal Prism Wand Lamp

This is a remix of the Sailor Moon crescent healing wand cosplay prop as a freestanding standing lamp. I replaced the original jewel part with the high detail Moon lamp model and designed a 2-piece base to support the lamp. It uses a 500mA 12V supply and a 12v LED desk lamp bulb permanently trapped inside the Moon, placed there just before the top closed in. If you use a thinner bulb than I did, it could be inserted through the base of the moon piece instead of having to drop it in during print - I ruined three prints before I managed to do the drop-in without messing up. Use this type of bulb: https://www.amazon.com/GRV-Wedge-25-3528-Super-Bright/dp/B00EDFM83A/ref=sr_1_37?keywords=12v+led+bulb&qid=1553632793&s=gateway&sr=8-37. Remove the plastic bit on the leads to reduce height and overall space required - it's a fairly tight fit in there, and you don't want any wasted space. This isn't the exact bulb I bought; I got mine at Walmart in the lighting section, which is a 12v LED bulb for halogen desk lamps. You'll also need a toggle switch with an overall height less than 40mm that will fit in the 6.2mm hole provided.
