Sailfish Firmware
thingiverse
This firmware, named Sailfish, is a new generation of Jetty Firmware offering improved speed and better print quality. It is compatible with Cupcake, Thing-o-Matic, Replicator 1, Replicator 2/2X, Clone R1 line, Avatar/QiDi line, CTC line, FlashForge Creator line, MBot3D line, WanHao Duplicator 4 line, ZYYX line, and other Replicator 1 and 2 clones. The firmware took approximately 10 months to write and test, with the best appreciation coming from users who keep it on Thingiverse's front page. Sailfish boasts new features like better acceleration, ditto printing, Pause@ZPos, and SF50 Volumetric 5D printing. To use this firmware, follow installation instructions available at http://www.sailfishfirmware.com/doc/install.html and the setup guide at http://www.sailfishfirmware.com/doc/install-configuring.html. For support, visit the Jetty Firmware Forum at http://groups.google.com/group/jetty-firmware. The firmware was developed by Dan Newman and Jetty, with roots in a derivative of firmware released by Makerbot Industries. As it is not an official Makerbot release, any updates will be posted on the website, so check back often. Don't forget to download the zip file, set deprime acceleration settings to 0, and follow specific printing instructions for Replicator or Thing-o-Matic with LCD.
