Sail boat
thingiverse
This is a free sailing sailboat that I made for my son. We have tested it in our pond. It works fine. Maybe, some day we will make a RC version. You will need 10 small screws and two pairs of M3x16 bolts and nuts to assemble the hull. The hull is glued together and the keel is assembled to the hull using the M3 screws. This makes it possible to adjust the weight in the keel. The weight in the keel can be made from 2 or 3 mm steel plate. I made the mast from 5 mm carbon fibre tubes (those you find in kite stores). The sail is made from a plastic back and some tape. The tiller is made from 2 mm piano wire. The front part and the keel can be printed without infill.
