This theory suggests that individuals must fulfill their basic needs before moving on to higher-level needs. Another influential figure in human psychology is Sigmund Freud. His psychoanalytic theory posits that unconscious thoughts and desires play a significant role in shaping behavior. According to Freud, the unconscious mind contains repressed memories, unresolved conflicts, and instinctual drives that influence an individual's actions. Understanding human psychology has numerous practical applications.
