Students of dentistry often struggle to connect two-dimensional X-rays and images to the three-dimensional anatomical structures they represent. To bridge this gap, this model was created to help them correlate the landmarks on X-rays with the actual 3D anatomy they refer to. The model's foundation is built upon the BodyParts3D dataset, which provides a robust framework for understanding human anatomy. Further modifications were made using Pixologic Zbrush to add intricate details and ensure seamless alignment with a specific X-ray image featured in an online learning module on cephalometry. Key bones are annotated within the model, utilizing their corresponding Latin nomenclature to facilitate easy identification and reference.
