About three years ago, I and my wife purchased our first 3D printer and we began experimenting with Sketchup. These medallions (inspired by one of the greatest video games ever) were created with a 3D design understanding almost nonexistent, yet we still cherish them. They are very simple to print; adding about 20% infill ensures a solid foundation for each symbol's surface. What I do in Simplify3D is a two-stage print process: the first part has 20% infill, while the second part is printed with 0% infill. If you're unsure, simply use 20% infill. I utilize 0.3 layers. Don't redistribute my designs or the resulting 3D components; it's absurd to risk getting entangled in legal issues.
