Hello! I'm thrilled to join forces in combating this pandemic with my innovative project. It's not a traditional respirator, but rather a clever solution that prioritizes patient safety above all else. The functionality is remarkably straightforward: it operates by preventing excessive pressure from building up on the patient. Unlike mechanical respirators, which often pump too much air into the lungs, causing unnecessary strain, this design takes a more measured approach. If pressure begins to rise, the system's self-regulating mechanism kicks in, releasing excess air and returning the system to its safe operating range. This subtle yet crucial adjustment is governed by a simple equation: x ≤ p, where x represents the total resistance of the valve assembly and p signifies the normal working pressure of the respirator. If pressure exceeds this threshold, the valve springs into action, expelling any excess air in a seamless and controlled manner.
