Safety Razor Travel Case

Safety Razor Travel Case

This travel case is designed to hold the Feather Model AS-D2 safety razor, a 5-pack of blades, and a small pair of tweezers. It can easily be adapted to fit razors of other sizes. The print consists of three parts: the top and bottom of the case, and the latch. To make the hinge pins, I cut down brass escutcheon pins, but any suitable diameter wire will also work. I inserted the hinge pins first, then sanded the exterior of the case while it was closed. Of course, you don't have to sand it if that's not your preference. The case itself is made from colorFabb nGen material, and the latch is printed in Taulman PCTPE. To secure the latch in place, I used Cyberbond 2002, a wicking-type cyanoacrylate adhesive available at http://www.audiologysupplies.com/ecom/productpage/a6af12b8-95d5-41ff-b64c-8e5eaa31c8ca?category=daeb57df-9915-478d-ac89-d8cd731951b7.
