Safety Razor Case
thingiverse
Here is a case to hold a Merkur classic safety razor, up to 10 extra blades and act as a razor stand with pockets to stand up the blade guard and cap for drying after your shave. This case is modeled to accept razors with a blade guard that is 1.7 inches by 1.06 inches or smaller with a max handle diameter of 0.46 inches. The length of the assembled razor needs to be 3.4 inches or less from base of handle to the top of the cap to fit in this case. The case lid and base gaps are all modeled at 0.01 inch clearances, so your printer needs to be able to hold +/- 0.005 inch for it to fit together. The overall assembled case dimensions are 1.19 inches by 2.43 inches by 3.63 inches. If you are wondering why I made windows, it is so there isn't any condensation build-up in case you need to put it away wet. Edit: Added a 4.40 inch long razor case with drain holes. Added Kronos R1 case that clears a 0.5 inch diameter handle and 3.88 inch assembled length razor. Added a v1.1 to address the hinge fitting issues. Added a solid lid if you don't want the windows. Print Settings: Printer Brand: SeeMeCNC Printer: Rostock MAX Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.25mm Infill: 20% Notes: The STL's import as I printed them with the large bases against the build plate.
