Safety Razor Blade Guard

This blade guard was designed to fit snugly on a safety razors head to prevent any accidents. This is especially handy while traveling where you would like to throw your safety razor into your dopp kit last minute without thinking about it to much or the need to take the blade out first. The small tabs you can see in the slicer preview ensure an air gap between the razor and the guard which helps with drying in case you put the razor in while it's still wet. Even though all razor heads should be somewhat of the same dimensions as the blades are standardized you might need to adjust the scaling in your slicer. For a more elegant solution to that problem I included the Fusion360 file which was drawn in a parametric way and should therefore be easy to adjust to your razor. Please read the print setting advice below for optimal print quality. Finally: PLEASE TRY THE FIT OF THE GUARD WITHOUT A BLADE IN THE RAZOR FIRST! If the fit is not right you might be tempted to apply a lot of force and might slip into the blade.
