Alternate clips for Safety 1st car window shades replace traditional suction cup mounts. Two designs are available, with one utilizing a strong magnet and the other relying on durable 3M double-stick tape. Unfortunately, Honda Element rear windows are too narrow to accommodate the suction cups typically used by these safety devices. In an attempt to improve design performance, a magnet made of high-quality neodymium was incorporated into the clip. Specifically, this magnet measures 12mm x 3mm in size and was expected to provide sufficient holding power. However, its effectiveness fell short of expectations. Ultimately, the most effective solution involved using strong 3M double-stick trim tape to secure the Safety 1st car window shades in place.
