Safe Handcuff Toy
thingiverse
I figured it would be a blast to design some handcuffs that are safe and can be opened quickly without any hassle. These handcuffs don't need any metal hardware to work; instead, they rely on the parts' own pins and are driven by a printed spring. To attach them securely, you'll only need screws if you plan to mount these cuffs to something. The cuffs have four 5mm holes at the bottom for easy mounting. When printed in PLA with good layer adhesion, even a strong adult should be unable to break these, so keep that in mind if you decide to use this for more than just a fidget toy. At this point, I've made three major revisions of this project, and some individual parts have received numerous sub-revisions. Constructive criticism is very welcome as this project is still under development.
