This is a back plate designed to securely fasten a SAE quick connect socket to any vehicle or object, allowing for easy hook-up to a battery charger. It's not the plug itself - that can be purchased from Amazon or other online retailers. I created this mount because I wanted a reliable way to maintain my vehicle batteries when they're idle. To do this, I acquired SAE plugs and needed a sturdy attachment solution, so I developed this back plate. It utilizes the small screws included with the SAE plugs, making installation quick and secure by sandwiching the plastic or metal surface it's attached to. I printed mine in PLA since it won't be exposed to high temperatures, but if your application requires heat resistance, choose a more suitable filament. For added security, you can substitute screws for bolts - just increase the wall thickness and drill out the threaded section.
