Saddlebag Mount for See.Sense Ace/Icon Taillight
thingiverse
This is a mount for a See.Sense taillight to a loop on a saddlebag. This is much more stable than the clip that comes with the taillight. It uses the snap-on bracket of the seat post mount that comes with the light. My saddle bag has a rather thick (2 mm) loop, so if your loop is thinner it might be a bit looser. There are two ways to use this mount: 1. Semi-permanent mount using wire ties. If you will not be switching the mount between bags, then you can use a pair of wire ties to attach the See.Sense bracket to this mount (through the rubber band grooves). In this case you do not need the mount-head nut or a screw. Although, as shown in the second picture I uploaded, having the mount-head nut in place helps keep the whole thing together for installation, as the bend in the wire ties is trying to separate the mount from the See.Sense bracket. 2. If you need to move the mount between bags, then you can use an M2 x 8 mm screw and nut to hold the See.Sense bracket to the mount. I used one flat washer to keep the screw from sticking out of the nut. I would recommend that you then use a lanyard (I was using the one that came with my Garmin cycle computer) to attach the bracket and light to your bag separately. I would also suggest some thread locker between the screw and nut. Warning: Using a wire tie and/or a lanyard is recommended to avoid losing your taillight.
