Sad Face Box

We've been following the ordeal since Louise posted about it on Google+, sharing her concerns with the online community. Her original post has gained significant attention, and we're linking to it for reference. You can find it here: https://plus.google.com/102004222620592293275/posts/E24AfKAmSsU Multiple articles have been published on various 3D printing blogs, covering this issue from different perspectives: https://all3dp.com/makers-uproar-poached-thingiverse-models-ebay/ http://www.3ders.org/articles/20160221-3d-printing-community-rallies-against-ebay-store-selling-3d-prints-of-thingiverse-designs.html https://3dprinterchat.com/2016/02/whos-3d-model-is-it/ http://3dprint.com/120727/ebay-licensing-3d-models/ http://3dprintingindustry.com/2016/02/19/67013/ We greatly admire and respect Louise Driggers' work. By posting a sad face on Thingiverse, she effectively raised awareness about the situation and drew attention to it, which is a valuable tactic. Many people have filed complaints with eBay sellers, and designers within the community are coming together to help put an end to these violations. Although Louise has successfully had her Aria dragon model removed from eBay, there are still thousands of stolen designs listed on the platform. We're keeping a close eye on this situation and know that members of the community are taking action to address it.
