I wanted to create a detailed model of my favorite Parisian buildings for my youngest child, so I searched for an accurate version of the Sacré Cœur, only to find it lacked sufficient detail. That's when I downloaded an architectural facade from Sketchup and used it as a starting point to get the layout just right. Next, I removed the photo textures and added numerous 3D arches, columns, and other ornate details to make it feel authentic. The printout is still in progress, but it's shaping up nicely.
