Cults3D
This is a basic design I made myself. It is a very simple catamaran, which I am building as a learning project, as I am new to the world of sailing. The design includes two hulls, a rudder with it connectors, two hull covers and pin joints for each connection, as well as anchors for the boat's sheets, as it is a sailing boat. The assembly is simple; you only need a few extra crossbars to assemble the hulls, some #6 (3.5)x19MM and a smaller #6 (3.5)x12MM Screws for wood, doesn’t care the brand. These crossbars are supports between the hulls to separate them, you could glue them or put a screw to join them, I suggest them to be out of wood, I calculated a 7 cm separation between each one. The mast is 10 cm from the bow with a maximum height of 22 cm. I also use the crossbar that supports the mast as the boat's bowsprit so that I can attach some jibs or a Genoa sail. It is a very homemade project, and as it is my first 3D-printed boat, it is also a learning experience. I will improve things and add suggestions as I learn and experiment with it.
