We were determined not to be deterred by the lack of open source models of the sleek jetpacks from the recent Rebel show. We decided to create a quick one ourselves using a few reference shots available online for my daughter's custom Mando costume. This model is still in its early stages, far from being scaled up to 1:1 size at this point. A lot of work remains to be done to smooth out the rough build and get it ready for painting.
