This is a straightforward slip fit shield that secures onto the side of the heatsink on the Sabertooth 2X60 to prevent electrical shorts when inserting battery wires and motor wires into the lugs/terminals. The design of the lugs allows the wire to potentially exit the back of the terminal and short against the heatsink, causing costly damage to this expensive motor controller.
