Sabertooth 2x12 case cover, tank, robotic
thingiverse
An updated Sabertooth 2x12 case has been created specifically for a tank, featuring a receiver case within it. The case is among my things and was designed to protect the tank's controller, especially in cases of falls. It includes a cover and lid for the Sabertooth 2X12 robotic dual motor speed controller. Additionally, there are blocks available to screw onto rails if needed. The case has holes at both ends for wire passage. Upon request, a case without pre-drilled holes can be supplied for those who prefer to drill their own. The tank project is an RC creation with 3D printed suspension and track, powered by dual 540 motors and Kyosho high-speed worm gear sets housed in 3D printed gear cases, all controlled by a Sabertooth 2x12 dual motor controller. The tank measures 17.25" long x 10" wide and boasts 2.375" of ground clearance with long-travel suspension. Two YouTube videos showcase the tank: one with Dual Mabuchi RS540 motors and another with Dual Brushless Traxxas Velineon 3500/VXL-3S running on dual 3S lipo batteries, reaching speeds of up to 11mph. A variety of track and suspension parts for the project can be found in the creator's 'things'.
