Sabacc was a wildly popular card game that boasted numerous variations, with many incorporating an incredibly elusive hand also known as sabacc. Played for high stakes by thrill-seekers, the ultimate objective of most sabacc versions was to outmaneuver opponents and claim the coveted sabacc pot by accumulating a hand whose value was tantalizingly close to 23, yet never exceeding it. A standard sabacc deck consisted of 76 cards (60 distributed evenly across four suits plus 16 specially crafted cards), each carrying a distinct numerical worth. Nevertheless, some variants employed dissimilar decks, and in many iterations of the game, a card's value and suit could dramatically shift at random during gameplay, unless it was shielded by the special interference field.
