This is my fourth and last attempt. Again I opted for a spiral groove mechanism. Incorporated the handle in the grill inside. It is a bit extreme for it's design from my point of view...but whatever. I think with this model had hit all the comments I had from the previous ones. concealed screws, no accidental step, can be made from abs or stainless, easy mechanism. Again the top lid is to be screwed to a separate base and have minimal parts.
