The nearly-scale model exhibits detailed exterior and interior features, including a cockpit with instrument panels, flight controls, seats, and an animated passenger cabin. Animated elements include ailerons, flaps, elevator, rudder, propellers, landing gear, landing gear doors, and cockpit controls. The model boasts high-resolution materials and textures and is available in various liveries. Formats for download are provided, with custom textures allowing further realism. This aircraft, initially a SAAB-Fairchild collaboration as the SF-340, first flew on 25 January 1983; production continued under Saab's auspices after Fairchild exited in 1985. However, low sales led to its cancellation in 1998.
