This scale model features both exterior and interior detailing, including a cockpit with instrument panels, flight controls, seats, and animateable features such as ailerons, flaps, elevator, rudder, propellers, landing gear, and landing gear doors. The passenger cabin includes walls, floor, and seating. High-resolution materials and textures are included, along with multiple liveries and download formats. Custom textures can be added for enhanced realism. Originally designed as a partnership between SAAB and Fairchild, the Saab SF-340 (later renamed Saab 340A) first flew on January 25, 1983, with production continuing after Fairchild's exit in 1985. However, sales declined by the late '90s, and production was ultimately cancelled in 1998.
