I'm making a custom STL file for a knob that controls the seat recline position on my 1999 Saab convertible. It's going to replace the broken ones, and I've managed to get it to fit perfectly. My longevity guarantee isn't great, but I can promise you it fits like a glove! Print Settings: Printer: CTC Dual Rafts: No rafts needed for this one. Supports: None required for this design. Resolution: I went with 0.2mm resolution - should be smooth enough! Infill: I chose an infill of 50% plus to ensure it's strong but flexible. Notes: I used PET for this item because the grips need to be skinny and reasonably strong, but also flexible. If your layer adhesion is really good, you could use ABS instead - not sure if PLA would be durable enough.
