Saab's GlobalEye is a multi-sensor, swing-role airborne early warning & control (AEW&C) surveillance aircraft from Swedish defense and security company Saab. The GlobalEye system consists of a suite of sensors using Saab's Erieye ER extended-range radar and mission system installed on board. The unique aspect of the GlobalEye system is its ability to view all three domains - air, land & sea - in real-time simultaneously fused into an onboard command & control system. Atop the aircraft is the Erieye ER radar system, with "ER" standing for extended range, which detects low-observable air, sea and ground objects with a 70% increase in range.
