Saab C900 Short throw shifter spacer

This is a 1" spacer designed for conversion of your Saab C900 shifter to achieve a shorter throw, following instructions from this site: https://www.saabce.com/Tech/Saab_ShortShifter.html. The spacer fits snugly between the cast aluminum shift housing and the cast aluminum retaining piece that holds the shift ball. Its design features a tight, keyed fit in both mating parts for secure, reliable shifting. In my opinion, this spacer is the biggest obstacle to making this modification. The website above recommends milling one of the cast shift housings or cutting one from PVC pipe. However, neither method offers the same level of security as a piece that keys into both parts, like this one does. Milling the cast piece not only compromises a hard-to-find part but also presents a challenging task for anyone to accomplish themselves. I have successfully tested my prototype printed in black Nylon and used it for one season without experiencing any signs of weakness or movement. The .STL file is ready for printing, and the .SLDPRT is also provided for further modification.
