Saab 900 short shifter

I designed and made this short shifter for my Saab 900 (classic - 1979 to 1994). It uses a fully captured spherical bearing for the pivot, and a Delrin (acetal plastic) ball to fit into the shift shaft socket. This thing works great, and makes shifting feel much crisper!It reduces the overall throw of your shifts in two ways:1) The pivot is raised by 13mm which moves the shift shaft more for every cm you move the shift knob2) The whole shaft is shorter, so your hand moves less, and it feels less like driving a busThe bearing mount and the shift knob are made from anodized AL7075, and the shaft is 6AL-4V Titanium (grade 5). All other parts are from McMaster-Carr and have part numbers included in the model.
