This custom bushing replacement replaces the worn-out or broken bushings on newer style Saab 900 transmissions. Over time, these parts degrade due to aging and excessive use, leading to premature wear. Although this design deviates slightly from its original counterpart, it maintains the same fundamental principles. For optimal performance, printing with nylon is recommended due to its self-lubricating properties, ensuring a longer lifespan compared to PLA or ABS. Prior to assembly, apply a suitable long-lasting lubricant to both surfaces in contact with the lever. Then, securely attach both parts together using a gentle twisting motion. Final alignment can be achieved by utilizing a tongue-and-groove plier until the outward indentations perfectly align.
