Saab 9-3 key, rubber replacement

This is an exact replica of a replacement part designed for the Saab 9-3(NG) top rubber. Over time, the original rubber wears down completely. To create this custom part, I employed a Micro3D with PLA filament and chose a white color to clearly identify which vehicle it belongs to. Before assembly, all existing rubber must be carefully removed from the model. A sharp knife is recommended for this process, as underneath lies a hard plastic component used to secure the parts together. Once the old rubber is gone, "regular" Loctite adhesive can be used to bond the new pieces in place, and finally, a smooth finish is achieved.
