This is a self-designed body for a WL-toys K989 rc car. The design is based on the SAAB 9-3 sportscombi but with a wide bodykit to fit the dimensions of the K989 chassis and a Hirsch inspired wing in the back. I modeled the body in blender with some 9-3 blueprints as a guide to get the dimensions of the car as proportionate as possible. The body is held in place with magnets and a custom designed body post. The lights are 3mm diodes that are powered by the battery that powers the car. The main body parts are printed standing on the Ender 3 Pro and then glued together. Front and rear lights are printed in clear PETG while the rest of the body is printed in PLA. However the body can be printed in PETG as well.
