<p>This is a self-designed body for a WL-toys K989 rc car.</p> <p>The design is based on the SAAB 9-3 sportscombi but with a wide bodykit to fit the dimensions of the K989 chassis and a Hirsch inspired wing in the back. I modeled the body in blender with some 9-3 blueprints as a guide to get the dimensions of the car as proportionate as possible.</p> <p>The body is held in place with magnets and a custom designed body post.</p> <p>The lights are 3mm diodes that are powered by the battery that powers the car.</p> <p>The main body parts are printed standing on the Ender 3 Pro and then glued together.</p> <p>Front and rear lights are printed in clear PETG while the rest of the body is printed in PLA.
